"I Can't Remember my Gmail Username!"

What happened?
So you finally decided to log in and check that email account you created months ago, when your friend finally convinced you to sign up for Gmail. But you realize when you get to the sign in page, you don't even know your username!
The first place to go if you have forgotten your username is to the Google Accounts page. You are asked to enter the secondary email address you provided at registration, and you are able to retrieve your username with that information.
If you didn't enter a secondary email address, then things become tricky! The first thing would be to track down a friend or colleage you have sent an email to - they can give you your email address and that will be your username. You can use that to access your account, and recover your password if necessary. If you haven't sent any emails, then don't worry too much and just sign up for another account.

if fact i register this second email for my second paypal, i never use it yet for sending to friend. now i lost both gmail account and paypal account. my big mistake.

Hi Sanu Zone - if you have your alternate email, you should be able to enter that email address on the google accounts page https://www.google.com/accounts/ForgotPasswd?servi
They will send an email to the other account with your username.

I have the exact same problem
I have the same problem. With the phone thing. FML.
I was trying to retrieve my username and entered my secondary email address. I received my email, BUT there were two usernames associated with my secondary email address. Mine and someone I don't know. How did that happen? and what do I do to delete them from being associated with my account.
I had to make a gmail acc 3 times so far... I think that connection between youtube and gmail is so fu*ked up... I always forgot freaking username on gmail.. When i delete gmail from youtube.. i returns always next time i come again!!!

Try to register another one, gmail will show the error message: this username is already taken. Then most probably that username is yours which you can not remember.
