National Treasure

Update

I saw the movie a few days ago, and loved it! It didn't go back into the history of the Civil War as much as I thought it might, but the plot was intriguing, and I was quite entertained. I have to admit not all of the acting was 'oscar-worthy', but it wasn't bad enough that it distracted from the movie.

Any thoughts?

So I haven't seen the new movie yet, but it looks great! I enjoyed the first one - a clever story with some interesting twists and if the second one is as good as the first, it should be entertaining! And I think the time period of the Civil War and Lincoln's presidency is probably not examined as closely as it could be, and we tend to paint things in black and white, so even if this movie isn't exactly accurate, it might get the mind thinking about what may have been going on at that point in history.

It's finally out on DVD! You can own both National Treasure One and Two, and have a National Treasure movie marathon! What could be better?

Maybe National Treasure 3??
