The Human Search Engine ChaCha

ChaCha is a service that allows you to send a question by text to an actual person, who will then do the research necessary to give you the best possible answer. Once they have an answer to your question, they format it into a text message and add a hyperlink to take you to the source.  The message is then sent back to your phone.  It's like having the smartest person in the room in your hand - no matter the randomness of the question, ChaCha has an answer!

Or so they claim - the downside of a human search service is that it is run by humans. And humans are prone to error, so the service won't work exactly as desired. But if you word your question properly, and happen to get a good ChaCha Guide, the answer will be exactly what you are looking for.

Simply text your question to 242242 (spells ‘ChaCha') or call 1-800-2ChaCha (800-224-2242). Your answer will be sent back directly to your phone as a text. If you need more info, or a clarification, just text back MORE.
